200 Ton Scrap Metal Shear Specs: How to Read the Sheet
Every number on a shear datasheet is true and none of it tells you what the machine does on your feed. A row-by-row reading of the Q91-200 sheet.

A 200 ton gantry shear has precise boundaries: rebar, light sections and plate under 30 mm as a daily diet, HMS occasionally, heavy sections never. Here is the full map.
The 2000 ton is the flagship: 170 mm plate continuously, 250-300 tons per day, built for the heaviest continuous feed in the largest operations.
The 1600 ton is the mill-scale class: 150 mm plate continuously, 200-240 tons per day, built for three-shift duty in mills and the largest operations.
The 1250 ton is the heavy-plate production class: 120 mm continuously, 160-200 tons per day, built for plants feeding mills and foundries.
The 1000 ton is the mill-grade class: 100 mm plate continuously, 100-120 tons per day, and the first machine in the range rated for bale cutting.
The 630 ton is the watershed class: the first machine in the range rated for continuous HMS duty, at 60 mm plate and 60-80 tons per day.
The 500 ton is the demolition class: 50 mm plate continuously, 45-60 tons per day, built for feed that arrives with concrete still on it.
The 400 ton is the general-purpose class: 40 mm plate continuously, 35-55 tons per day, mixed ferrous feed. The checklist before you order.
The 315 ton class is where growing yards land: 25-45 tons per day, 30 mm plate continuously, 50 mm occasionally. The specifications to confirm before you order.
